ABOUT THE ARTIST
Based in Marietta, Georgia, John Box Harrison is an artist whose passion for painting has grown from a foundation in watercolor into a diverse practice that includes watercolor, acrylic, and oil.
John draws much of his inspiration from his travels, with some of his earliest and most lasting influences coming from childhood trips to visit family in West Texas. The landscapes, colors, and character of those experiences continue to shape his perspective and inspire many of his paintings.
Beyond creating art, John is equally passionate about sharing his knowledge with others. He enjoys teaching painting on his YouTube channel and finds much fulfillment in helping artists of all skill levels develop their creativity and confidence.
